Attorney Herbert A. Brail

Herb worked extensively with adoption and surrogate parenting issues throughout the 1980's and founded the Keane Center for Adoption in 1989 together with the late Noel P. Keane.  Joining the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys in 1991, he completed in 2009 his term on the Academy Board of Trustees as Immediate Past President.  Accepting only adoption related cases out of his Dearborn, Michigan office, he primarily handles domestic infant adoptions with an extensive interstate practice.  Additionally, he frequently represents individuals and agencies in contested adoption matters.  He and his wife, Christine, who is the owner and director of the Keane Center for Adoption, www.keaneadoption.org, are adoptive parents and have two daughters.
